Taking Time To Smell The Roses

Good morning! Can you believe it's August already? Wow, my second summer is going so fast! Dad was clearing an area for a new tool shed he's going to be putting up and I was helping him yesterday! Mom got some pics of me smelling the flowers. Here's one of them. Thankfully it doesn't show my scraped up knees! So I've fallen a few times, what of it? ha Mom & Cheryl had a garage sale this past week at Cheryl's and of course I had to wipe out on the cement a few times. But I didn't even cry cause I'm such a big girl!

I love being outside! Sounds like it's gonna heat back up this week again.

Growing Like A Weed!

Just thought I'd better put a quick entry in to let everyone know what I've been up to lately.

I was just weighed and measured the other day and I'm up to 22 lb. 13 oz. and I'm 31" tall already!

Been spending time in my pool (or even Cheryl's BIG pool a couple times!), chasing the kitty, playing in my sandbox, drawing some awesome pictures with my fat crayons (Mom gets so excited when I scribble on the paper... I don't see what the big deal is)..... just doing lots of fun things. Mom & I even went to my first 4-H fair the other day! I saw lots of animals! I wasn't quite sure what to think, seeing them in real life.... Looking forward to my next fair though.

Well I must take my nap now, it's been a long morning!

Grandpa Come To See Me Today!

Finally, after waiting a whole year, Grandpa come back to see me again and he brought Marge with him! I had so much fun playing shy and peek-a-boo with them. They are going up to the U.P. for a day or two and then they'll be back. Hope they hurry!

Sure is nice today. Supposed to get all hot and humid again next week. That means more pool time! yipeee! :)

Weather is nice again!

Hi there! Just a quick update for the busy holiday weekend.... had lots of company yesterday and plum wore myself out! But had so much fun. Picture is of my Aunt Linda, Uncle Lyle, Grandma & Mike. We ate outside and I got to play outside all afternoon. The weather is nice again, in the 80's.

Now it's Cold!

Oh boy! You know what they say... if you don't like the weather here, just wait 5 minutes! It was nearly cold today after the hot humid heat we've been having. Only 70 today! But I still went out and played and I got to ride in my bike trailer today. It was a good day for that.

I snuck in 2 naps today so I stayed up late tonight! nearly 10:00! But boy, was I tired when my head hit that pillow... er, I mean crib!

Hotter than Florida here!

How bad is this? The weatherman said it has been hotter here than Florida! We are about to have our hottest day in 3 years here, so they tell us. Whew! Sounds like a good day for the pool, Mom!

Look what I saw out the window this morning! One buck and one doe in our front yard again eating breakfast, I guess. We see deer and rabbits in our yard everyday. I love watching the hummingbirds on the feeder out our kitchen window when I eat.

Well, I really must go. It's my morning nap time, you know! Hope you can keep cool today!

Another steamy day!

Wow! Another hot day here. The humidity is nuts. Had to spend some time in my pool today. Thought you might like to see a pic.

It sure cooled me off! I love my pool. After the long hard day we had yesterday, we all took it pretty easy today.

Well I must go and finish and my dinner... roast beef, carrots, peas and mmmm, grape

Oh my! What a full day I had today

Wow! I'm so pooped.... in fact I'm writing this in my sleep from my crib hahhahaha

I played so hard today I almost fell asleep in my highchair tonight! First, I went out to Dad's jobsite today. I got to see him way up on the top of these sticks nailing on what mom called rafters to this pole barn thing they are building. What a hot day it was today! In the 90's with 90 something humidty and he and Cliff had to work out in it. Whew! We didn't stay long there cause it was just too hot.

Then we went swimming in Cheryl's pool for the rest of the afternoon. Weeeeeeee! That was sooooooo much fun. I wore myself out!

In fact... oh no.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !

Good evening! Mom insisted on trying out my own blog. Hopefully it will be easier to update everyone on my latest happenings.

It looks like Mom's internet service has finally been fixed! Sorry for the delay in the latest pics in my online gallery but they are all updated now.

This first entry will be a short one cause it's getting late and well, my teeth coming through are making me, well, frankly.... cranky :) Not to mention I've had a long day between the bike rides with mom, the sandbox, my pool and chasing our new kitty.... whew! Makes me tired just thinking of my action packed days hehe
